The ZKL Group is committed to environmental preservation through the reduction of energy consumption across its operations, encompassing both production facilities and administrative buildings. To achieve this objective, extensive investments in infrastructure were carried out in Brno and Klášterec nad Ohří during the years 2022 and 2023.
At ZKL Klášterec nad Ohří, a.s., the implementation of a project focused on decreasing operational energy demands, reducing emissions, and enhancing thermal-technical properties of the company's production-administrative building was completed in June 2023. The project involved measures such as the replacement of windows and doors, insulation of the building envelope, and insulation of the roof along with the replacement of roof skylights.
This endeavor was executed within the framework of the Operational Program Enterprise and Innovation for Competitiveness, under the Energy Savings call, and received co-financing from the European Union.
