ZKL constantly expands its range of bearings for railway applications. New types and dimensions of bearings designed for traction motors are being added to the already established axle bearings.

Special cylindrical roller bearings in so called “TM01” design are being developed for foreign customers engaged in the production of diesel-electric locomotives. These bearings are equipped with a “MP” cage - machined, one-piece, roller centered type. This cage and its functional surfaces allow to achieve optimal bearing lubrication and low heat generation. “MP” cages are designed for medium and large-size bearings of traction motors and for heavy loads, including shock loads.
为从事内燃机车生产的外国客户开发了名为“TM01”设计的特殊圆柱滚子轴承。这些轴承配备了“MP”保持架-机械加工，一体式，滚子中心型。该保持架及其功能表面可实现最佳轴承润滑和低热发。“MP”保持架设计用于牵引电机以及重型负载，包括冲击负载的中型和大型轴承。
Another special feature is a ceramic coating on the outer ring of the bearing. The layer of Al2O3 insulates the bearing from the seating surfaces and thus prevents the passage of stray electric currents through the bearing. The passage of electric current is a negative phenomenon, as it causes erosion in the raceways of the rings and, as a result, significantly shortens the life of such affected bearings. Thanks to their design, ZKL bearings for traction motors are adapted to the most demanding operating conditions. One of them is, for example, the newly developed bearing NUP417EMP TM01.
另一个特点是轴承外圈上有一层陶瓷涂层。Al2O3层使轴承与阀座表面绝缘，从而防止杂散电流通过轴承。电流的通过是一种负面现象，因为它会在轴承圈的滚道中造成腐蚀，从而显著缩短受影响轴承的寿命。由于其设计，ZKL轴承能够适应牵引电机最苛刻的运行条件。例如，其中之一是新开发的轴承NUP417EMP TM01。
